Keri Carter
Certified Financial Planner™ | Chartered Wealth Manager | Managing Director
Keri is hugely passionate about Financial Planning and provides strategic advice to our clients, as well as overseeing the running of our firm. She joined us in 2001, qualified as a Certified Financial Planner™ in 2007 and went on to be announced as the inaugural winner of the CFP™ Professional of the Year award.
Since 2001, Keri has been actively involved in promoting the profession through her work as a Board Director of the Institute of Financial Planning (IFP), and more recently, as Deputy Chairman of the Financial Planning Forum Committee at the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (CISI). She has recently worked as a mentor for Coventry University Wealth Management Initiative and received the Tony Sellon award in 2017 for her contribution to Financial Planning. Keri also holds the STEP Certificate for Financial Services, Trusts and Estate Planning, bridging the knowledge between BFP and specialist lawyers. She is regularly asked to share her views on financial matters by industry publications and the national press.
Keri is married to Neil and has a young daughter, Connie. As well as juggling the challenges of motherhood, she enjoys travelling, skiing and walking their Jack Russell terrier, Bailey.
Rebecca Daly
Financial Paraplanner
Rebecca moved from Cork in Ireland to join the team as a Trainee Financial Planner in May 2018.
She graduated in 2015 with an Honours Bachelor of Commerce Degree and is looking forward to developing her career in Financial Planning. Now level 6 qualified, Rebecca will assist Keri in providing advice to clients.
Hetty Hyde-Durrant
Financial Planner
Hetty joined us in October 2022 after 6 years’ experience working behind the scenes in a large financial planning firm. She has an MSc in Economics and Public Policy from the University of Bristol and became a Certified Financial Planner™ in February 2024.
Hetty works alongside Keri providing Financial Planning advice to clients. She believes that Financial Planning is personal and about helping clients achieve their goals and aspirations, not just about the numbers.
Outside of work she loves travelling with her fiancé, going to festivals with friends and exploring local pubs to find the best Sunday dinner! She also attends CrossFit classes most days. She says it’s to keep her fit but really, it’s to socialise!
Jess Burrows
Administrator
After completing her A Levels, Jess began working for an Estate Agent in Cheltenham and remained in property until she joined BFP in 2022. During that time she gained extensive knowledge of both the Sales and Lettings industry.
Jess grew up in Willersey but briefly strayed as far as Cheltenham where she bought her first house before returning to Willersey to start a family.
She now has two boys, who fill her days with fun and tantrums! In the little spare time she has, she is trying to complete the renovations on her house which have taken a lot longer than expected. If she’s really lucky, she also enjoys going for a run.
Gill Clark
Assistant to Financial Planners
Gill joined us in 2013 as our Administrator and has since gone on to develop her role.
With a background in financial services, she brought a wealth of expertise to the firm. Acting as the main contact for clients, Gill provides all of the client support to Keri and the team and is integral in the ongoing relationships with clients.
Caroline Bishop
Bookkeeper
Caroline joined in 2009 to provide bookkeeping and accountancy support. Caroline’s main responsibilities include purchase and sales ledger input, preparation of management accounts, and PAYE. Her valuable support is integral to the efficient running of our business.
